The blessings rained down!

26 Jun 2018

The bleak weather did little to dampen the spirits of those who attended the NSW State Conference 2018 on the June long weekend in Newcastle.

Close to 400 people attended the six sessions centred on our theme of ‘God and You – making the connection’. Session topics included:

  • A better way to live
  • The God who answers
  • Freedom from addiction
  • Reviving bible Christianity
  • Healing for all

We were encouraged by inspiring ministry from speakers across our fellowship. You can listen (or re-listen) to these talks and testimonies from the Conference here.

In the lead up to the Conference the Hunter fellowship undertook a significant advertising campaign that included radio ads, MacDonald Jones Stadium billboard, Intouch magazine and a leaflet drop across many suburbs. There were visitors from each of those campaigns as well as personal invitation.

As saints do best we continued our conversation well in to the evening at the University of Newcastle NewSpace café which was a fantastic time of catching up and sharing stories on what God is doing in each of our lives.

We were blessed with four baptisms over the weekend and look forward to seeing our new brothers and sisters become established in their new life with God, now that they have made the connection.
