Hey Soul Sista!

19 Mar 2025

Each year, for the women in NSW and ACT (and a few ring-ins from across the border) Soul Sistas is a coveted getaway, set half way between Sydney and Canberra at the stunning Attunga grounds.

It’s just far enough from the big cities to see the most spectacular star displays each night, cushioned between sunset and sunrise which compete to be the most stunning each day.  It also means camp starts with the car ride there and doesn’t end until you get home, car pools and convoys are such a fun part of it.

This years theme – Royalty, with the key scripture Mark 5:34:

“Daughter your faith has made you whole,
go in peace and be healed of your affliction”
It’s such a great opportunity to connect on a different level

While so many of the Sisters would say the Saturday afternoon workshop is the main highlight, it’s a constant flow of favorite moments: Sunrise walks, starting the days with brekkie and a chat, bushwalks, sharing wisdom through scriptures, one on one chats, watching the sunset together, rugging up and chatting or singing under the stars.  Then there’s the activities, this year among the action saw teams go head to head in a cup tip: one minute with one team turning the cups up, while the other team I trying to turn them over and a mummy wrap. Yes, you read that correctly.

It’s such a great opportunity to connect on a different level than what you would at a meeting or week to week activity. Coffee & a selection from the essential bottomless bowl of Lindt balls: the perfect conversation starter.

Next year being the 20th anniversary will be bigger and better than any year yet!

Stay tuned for the theme and dates release in early 2026!
